Art Gallery
Art Gallery Saranda is located on the main boulevard of Saranda, next to the Museum of Tradition.
The gallery offers visitors a permanent collection that includes works from two distinct eras: the period of socialist realism and the modern period. The gallery’s director, Mr. Lefter Çeko, highlights its unique value in providing insight into the transformation of visual art during and after the dictatorship. This change is especially noticeable in the work of artists who were active in both periods. Exhibits include abstract sculptures, modern paintings, and artwork reflecting the region’s folklore and history.
The gallery frequently hosts exhibitions by Albanian artists living both inside and outside the country, as well as symposia with participants from around the world.
